To register for the Project, all participants need to fill out the appropriate paperwork (application, releases and acceptance of conditions), pay the fee and provide the necessary items. The items are as follows: musicians and/or bands need to provide three original license free songs on USB drive or available as links on a website; film teams need to provide a representative at the Kick-off event to match up their team with a band and return the completed film on USB at the Turn-in event.
All paper work is available here. Registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Early bird registration fees are $35. Registration fees are $50 and $25 for entrants under 18 years old Early bird registration closes 2 weeks before the competition. Regular registration continues until the day before the “kick-off” event. If there are more musical entrants than filmmakers, “extra” musical acts will be fully refunded for their entry fees and receive a free ticket to the closing concert. Which bands are refunded will be determined by the order in which they registered.
